A. 4-year undergraduate education
Students admitted to this department are those who major in humanities in high schools and vocational schools Graduates are granted a bachelor’s degree in law.
There are five major objectives:
a. to train students to be capable of leading foreign affairs police officers
b. to enable students to handle cases involving foreigners
c. to train students to be specialized in foreign worker management
d. to train students to be specialized in immigration and emigration management
e. to engage in more research in foreign affairs science
B. Practical training
Sophomores are required to go to police stations for practical training. Juniors are also required to receive 5-week practical training in the Foreign affairs Division of police department （in Taipei and Kaohsiung）, police precincts, and Aviation Police Bureau. It is hoped that students can apply what they learn in school to real duty and tasks.
C. Advanced education
The Graduate School of Foreign Affairs Police established in 2001 and is open to all college graduates. Upon graduation, students will be granted a master’s degree in law.
There are six major objectives:
a. to train students to be top professionals in this field
b. too enhance foreign affairs officers’ ability in handling cases involving foreigners
c. to engage in research in international immigration systems as well as entry and exit management systems
d. to train students to be specialized in international management systems of foreign workers
e. to provide students with various researches in this field
f. to provide police agencies concerned with professional information and tips
